OUR BENNETT BBQ

Yesterday, Lynn was at Jimmy & Melissa's talking Avon stuff and she called to ask if they can come for a visit. I told her to invite Jimmy & Melissa & gang and we can have a BBQ. Grandad cooked some steaks, hot dogs and catfish on the barbie. Mmmm! Catfish is really yummy!

They Get Along So Well...Always Have

This Is Them At Jimmy & Melissa's Wedding, April of 2004

I Think Lilly Took This One

Christopher and I sliced some cheese n decorated a tray with it. At the beginning, he was eating the cheese as fast as I was slicing it. Then we added crackers. Christopher said it was so much fun and said he wishes he can do it for a job. We also made another tray with carrots, celery n dip. All the food was yummy and we even had popsicles for dessert.

This One Is Really Kewl... Got Him In Mid-Air
Was He Going Up, Or Coming Down? Hmmm

They're Both Such Little Hams

These Pix May Be Out Of Focus, But They're Really Kewl!

Lilly and Christopher wanted to get out the crayons and color in the books I have. I like keeping games and stuff like that so they can do things when they visit. We may not have things they're use to like video games or game boys, just to name a few, but what we do have are old fashion stuff like crayons n coloring books and family board games. We LOVE when they visit.

Somehow Or Another Miles, Wound Up In The Middle Of This Chair. How His Pants Got To His Ankles I Have No Clue! I Thought It Was Really Funny...Even Grandad Said It Was A Kodak Moment, So I Ran n Got My Camera

Miles Is Such A Sweetheart ... And SOOOO Adorable! They're So Innocent At This Age ... Almost 2

I took some pix of Miles and Lilly wanted to take a few pix too. I showed her how to handle the camera and she went with it. She started taking pix of everything and everyone. Most of them came out blurry, even some of them I took, but they look kewl enough to post on here anyway. She shared the camera with Christopher so they both took pix of whatever or whomever. Check it out

I Really Like This Picture Lilly Took, It's One Of A Set Of (3)Stepping Stones I Have In My Garden Which Reads The "FootPrints" Poem

Lynn's such a doll, while I was visiting on the front deck, she cleaned the kitchen and put food away from the BBQ. She always seems to help in every way. That's her nature. I love having her around. She even cleans up after me. Sometimes she even finishes my sentences.

These, In Case You Didn't Know, Are "Self Portraits". They Decided To Take A Picture Of Themselves... Kewl Job!

Lilly Jasmine Saying So Long... We Had A Fun Visit!

It was really nice seeing them again. I think it was 2 summers ago. Last year we took care of Grandma so we didn't have many visitors. She wasn't up to a lot of "busyness" around her. We must do this again... Soon!
