Ya know, so much has happened since I posted on here last. Christopher is changing right before our eyes. He loves school. He's learning so many things. At church, at home and in school.
I am so proud of my little boy. He is so remarkably smart. He's learning his letters, and how to spell words. Each week they learn different letters and for show and tell in that week, they get to choose what to bring in that starts with that letter.
So far he's learned M and brought in a map; for S he brought in speed racer cars; for R he brought in race cars; for C he brought in some cut-outs we were creating; for T he brought in his teddy bear he made; for A he brought in his cousin Anthanei's red letter "A" pillow he made for me when he was in school; for N he brought in a necklace; for D he brought in a dictionary.
This Reminds Him What He Is Thankful For
Each month he gets to bring home an outline drawing of something thats relating to that month. As a family project we get to decorate it. We can use anything we have around the house that makes it kewl looking. October, he and his mommy decorated a pumpkin; November they decorated a turkey; and for December we got to decorate this tree.
Christpoher put buttons on, we made a paper chain, mommy cut out some pictures of presents and a star to put under and on top of the tree. I made bows and attached tiny bells on them. We put them on the tree. He also drew blue circles as Christmas balls. It is so much fun creating these projects.
He is so very talented and creative.
I think I'll keep him around! :)
A Thanksgiving post will follow
