OUR TRIP

Last Friday, Patti called me. Cody got on the phone and said "Memay, we haven't see n you in a long time, I miss you!" Well, guess what we did about that? Yup, we took a trip to Delaware. The timing was great anyway because it just so happened to be Cody's birthday on Saturday so that gave me the incentive to go. I wanted to surprise him and told him it's because he missed me is why we decided to come. We planned on leaving here about 11ish in the AM but by the time we left it of course was after noon. I wanted to be there by 2 or 3 but I knew then it wasn't gonna happen. So we took our time and got to Patti's around 5. Ooops, a little slow, don't ya think

When we got there, Cody's party was over and things were winding down. That was nice not to have a houseful. yikes! We had dinner and played games. They had this game called, "You Might Be A Redneck if"... that was so much fun. Even Grandad played. He loved the game. We laughed a lot! We also played "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?"... That was a lot of fun too, but if I had to rate both games; I'd go with the Redneck Game. That was funner. hehehee

Lil Sam has a camera addiction. He's forever taking pictures of anybody and anything he thinks is kewl. He likes taking vid-caps also. I asked them to download onto their computer so we can see the ones he took over the weekend, but I haven't heard from them yet. When I get them, I'll post them here.

We spent the night at Patti's. Sunday afternoon Patti made a great dinner. Angela, Nelson and Kimbi came over and had dinner with us. Of course Lil Sam took more pix. After dinner we went to stay at Angela's. Whenever we're together, Anglea and I go to Bingo on Sunday nights. We did, we had fun but it was frustrating that we were so close but neither one of us won. Boohoooo

Sweetheart, Now...and Always

We were planning on leaving Delaware sometime Monday afternoon but before we did, we took Angela and Kimbi to Betsy Ross for lunch. On our way there we FINALLY got hold of Anthanei and asked him to meet us there. I couldn't get over how much of a man Anthanei looks. Solid as a brick house! He's our oldest grandson. He may be a man but I'll never outgrow his huggs.

I love visiting our grankids. I love being with our girls and our grankids are just as special! Each one has their own special place in my heart just for them. They are a gift of love from God. ThanQ God!
